This morning I was working on my website and I had the television on in the background and was listening to Wayne Dyer talking. He said something that really struck home with me.
“When we live in a place of passion, we can create anything. Passion is the creative source in our soul.. live it and [...]

Choosing to live clutter free can fill you with a new strength. When you become honest and determined in this area of your life, your courage and clarity to be more productive will flow into other areas, too. The new order and discipline will be reflected in all that you do.
When you establish order as the [...]
Discipline is constructive rather than destructive
Posted in Random Thoughts, tagged linkedin on June 21, 2009 | Leave a Comment »
This morning as I was having my personal quiet time, I came across a reading on “Discipline”. What caught my attention was how it related to people I deal with sometimes getting organized who feel that discipline is a form a punishment – completely missing the more constructive meaning of the word. Discipline, as my [...]

It’s not my original concept, I actually learned it from my ActionCoach, Yolanda Duperret. However, at a speaking event that I had yesterday, one of my evaluation’s came back with the response that one of the new skills they would implement right away would be the “default diary”.
What is a default diary? It’s an activity [...]

I was so disappointed to read that Obama’s email can be filtered on his Blackberry. I have tried everything to filter junkmail to no avail.
So apparently the technology is there to filter it, I just can’t wait until it’s made available to the rest of us.
I guess I’ll stick with my email on my desktop, I’m [...]
Handling a Hoarder

I’m definitely not an expert on the pyschology of hoarding, but I do know a thing or two about what makes my skin crawl when I hear a story like I heard today.
I had breakfast with a neighbor and he was sharing about another neighbor who had not shown up for his normal breakfast meeting, so he was concerned [...]

I am often personally challenged by the holidays – personally. I really always thought I’d grow up in the “traditional” way of being married, have a few kids, do all the things I grew up doing on the holidays, i.e., make a big dinner, get dressed up and go caroling, go ice skating at Rockefeller [...]

I’m writing an article for my business weekly newsletter about the annual inventory that businesses need to exercise for their assets. In my current ezine, I challenge my readers to take personal inventory and look at themselves and what assets they have over the this past year that are still left over that they haven’t [...]

If you will be going out of town for the holidays, make a master packing list early. If you will be flying, do not bother wrapping gifts. They will be unwrapped at the airport. It is best to mail presents ahead of time, so they will be there when you arrive.

I just returned from a long weekend in Phoenix. It was a great trip personally, enjoyed family, friends and fun. My niece, Chrissie is going to school there, so her mom, my sister, Mary came in from New Mexico. We had a big Thanksgiving dinner at Chrissie’s apartment party room, with inlaws, and local sports highlights, [...]
